DarntonB3 were appointed to a four year Framework agreement for Architectural services, on behalf of the University of Westminster.
Under the agreement we successfully completed a commission to extend an existing University facility at 115 New Cavendish Street, London. The extension incorporates Library/quiet working space, computer workstations, break-out spaces, discussion space and toilets.
The building provides facilities for the schools of Biochemistry and Computer Science and the scheme designed creates additional library space. This expansion of space is created by the addition of a further storey to the building. We worked innovatively to develop a design that allowed for the development of the scheme economically, providing an excellent learning environment.
Further services provided include Post Occupancy Evaluation exercises.
We can assist in the development of long term campus development plans, through to the refurbishment and maintenance of existing teaching facilities.
Award-winning, sustainable schemes have been designed, including flagship new build developments and our teams are well versed in the development of close, long term client relationships.
We are appointed to a number of framework agreements throughout the UK. We seek to increase the quality of the learning experience and aid in the achievement of sustainable improvement.
