We’re pleased to announce a management re-structure in our Cardiff office, boosting our West business unit with an appointment to the Board of Directors and the appointment of a new Senior Associate.
Matthew Savory has been appointed to the DarntonB3 Board of Directors, effective from January 2018, as part of our long-term succession strategy, meaning that Matthew is now responsible for our West business unit, including our offices in Cardiff and Aberystwyth.
With extensive skills in both architecture and management Matthew has successfully led project teams and framework agreements on behalf of DarntonB3 to deliver large scale projects across a number of sectors including education, residential, commercial and leisure. Recent projects include the high profile redevelopment of the former Taff Vale shopping centre in Pontypridd, the scheme is a fundamental constituent in the regeneration of Pontypridd’s town centre. Other projects within our West business unit currently include The National Library of Wales, The National Museum of Wales, Conwy Cultural Hub and the redevelopment of Porth & Tonypandy schools.
To further support Matthew in his new role we have also strengthened our senior management team, we’re pleased to welcome Jamie Brewster as a Senior Associate. Jamie joins us as an experienced senior architect bringing with him 22 years of experience, particularly in the design of healthcare projects.
Matthew comments: “These are exciting times, for DarntonB3 as a whole and especially for our team in Wales. We are delighted to welcome Jamie into the firm, not only to help strengthen our senior management team but his extensive experience in the healthcare sector will complement our existing expertise within the business.”
