The site comprised of land currently unoccupied, which was previously used as a coke works. The site had been unoccupied since the 1980’s but had a long industrial past dating back to the late 17th century.
The development included an integrated road system providing possible future bus routes through the site, enabling access to the proposed family orientated public house and public amenities which will be available to the already existing local community and residents of the new development.
