Working with Wates Smartspace, to date in 2018 we have designed full refurbishments for 21 retail branches with 9 having completed on site and the rest hitting site this autumn.
These are for the most part traditional client / project manager design led projects in CAD where we take a standard brief / kit of parts and an agreed space planning concept through contractors proposals to completion.
Recently however LBG are looking to use contractor led design principles on some major projects including fit out of vacant upper floors above the Manchester retail branch flagship that we completed last year and a relocation of an investment banking arm of LBG into new offices in Birmingham. With these projects we are taking the client brief direct and realising it for them from concept to completion.
These new sites have allowed our team to develop the concepts in Revit where visuals, technical isometrics and improved co-ordination have proven a real advantage in our developing relationship with Wates.
We have also developed concept designs for a Business Transaction Centre on 2 pilot sites which have been well received by Lloyds Banking Group and are likely to be rolled out across the UK over the next few months.
With as builts on IDM installations on 44 sites, Construction Issue plans on ATM replacements in 49 sites, a 4 floor fit out of an LBG training centre in Leadenhall, full Contractor’s Proposals on two further office fit outs in Leeds and Wythenshawe as LBG disaster recover suites, it has been a busy, wide ranging period on the banking framework.
