We were appointed to assist in the creation of a new boutique hotel in the Grade2 listed form former Shire Hall, Reading.
We had previously converted the building to offices and so were familiar with the opportunities that the structure offered for modern hospitality. Great care was taken in the design to maximise the spaces whilst maintaining the listed character of this period property.
The resulting hotel has been a great success and incorporates a private cinema, an award winning restaurant and a number of generous bedroom suites.
Included within the development is a nine storey apartment building providing 17 luxury apartments through a mixture of 2-bed and 3-bed accommodation.
