Diocese of St Asaph

DarntonB3 Architecture has been involved in preparing Quinqennial Inspections for the Diocese of St Asaph for several years. This has involved the surveying of a range of Churches from the Medieval through to the High Victorian and from large “mother” churches through to small rural mission churches. The preparation of the inspection reports often leads to implementation of specialist reports.

Churches Conservation Trust

Conservation of the Grade 1 Listed redundant Church has been carried out for the Churches Conservation Trust and the work involved the replacement of the lead roof over the Nave, Chancel and Tower including the replacement of the historic rainwater goods.

Brittania Theatre

DarntonB3 was appointed to provide advice on a comprehensive “options appraisal”, which involved a detailed survey of the fabric and discussions with Grand Aid bodies. Phase One involved roof structure stabilisation and extensive slate/lead roof repairs. Phase Two commenced by removing many layers of blue paint from the stone Italianate facades.

Royal Welsh Agricultural Society

DarntonB3 Architecture were responsible for the concept design and for obtaining planning consent for the new Members Pavilion at The Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells.
